Friday, July 11 Classes and Genealogy Banquet and entertainment by the Norwegian Bachelor Farmers

Saturday, July 12 Closing Session at 9:00-11:30 am featuring George Olson and his presentation entitled "They Brought More Than Lutefisk and Lefse."

Speakers and their topics: Dale Goodman - Keynote Speaker at 9:30 am Thursday talking about our theme Norwegian Crossing and the ship, the Restauration. Dean Uland - Agriculture & history, including local & Minnesota, as well as topics in immigration & World War I. Miranda Moen - Norwegian-American architecture and its influences from Norway. Karen Fried & Nancy Gulbranson - Food Demonstrations. Thomas Jacobson - History of pastor Claus Lauritz Clausen who was instrumental in founding Beaver Creek Lutheran Church in 1856. Caitlin Sackrison - Norwegian immigrant homesteaders in Brown County, Minnesota. Gracia Grindal - Her topic will be about her book "Unstoppable - Norwegian Pioneers Educate Their Daughters". Candice Simar - Renowned poet and author from Pequot Lakes, Minnesota. Kelly Herness - Will talk about her study abroad experience during the fall of 2024 in Bø I Midt-Telemark, Norway.

2025 STEVNE LODGING

Room blocks were reserved at the DoubleTree by Hilton (site of the stevne) and the Days Inn (just across the parking lot).
