"The Lure of the Land: Dreams and Realities"

The Norwegian American Food Fest (Thursday pm and Friday) featured demonstrations of Christmas cookies, kransekake, a full Julebordm and more.  With recipes available - and samples! - it was a big hit.

Thursday evening we were entertained by the Kingery Family, and Friday evening we heard from Lorna Landvik.  Tour choices included the churches and historical sites of Kandiyohi County, Ness Church and the Forest City Stockade, and the award winning Jer-Lindy Farms and Red-Head Creamery.

The lag opted to skip a formal meeting (our annual meeting is in the fall) and gathered for lunch - and door prizes! - at the Oaks at Eagle Creek Golf Club.  A great time was had by all!
