2011 Annual Meeting
Saturday, October 22, 2011
9:30 AM
Bethania Lutheran Church (Vesterheim)
113 North Mill Street
Decorah, Iowa
Thanks to Barb Schmitt and Dean Sorum for pictures from the event! |
This was the first year in which the annual meeting was scheduled as the Fall Meeting.
The morning began with coffee and cookies, followed by a brief business meeting. Dave Pfeffer and Barb Schmitt were re-elected as treasurer and board member, respectively. Ron Norland was an excellent speaker, and sold many of his books following the presentation. This was followed by a catered lunch. The activities continued with a guided tour of the outdoor museum at the Vesterheim. Following the tour, some lag members ventured into the museum building itself and enjoyed the displays and collections found there.
